my Self-Imposed Limitations

As aging members of society, it is easy for us to buy into whatever concept the world at large is projecting at any given time. As women, we also fall victim to the “invisibility cloak” or the treacherous “surgeons knife” that so dangerously further distorts our perception of who we are. Becoming fearful of the inevitable, getting older often becomes a desease ridden reality.

In a technological and youth driven society, it is easy to discard the wisdom and life experience of someone who has been in the trenches for a longer period of time, making those with experience feel irrelevant and outmoded. For those of us searching, one of the easiest things to do is to give our power away to anyone who in our minds has a place of perceived “authority.” This can become a dangerous, even fatal reality. We can literally become infected. Taking us away from our “Whole-istic” truth.
